Toen ik in uw ‘Bio’ als geboorteplaats ‘Vriezenveen’ vermeld vond,
betekende dat ik niet zo zeer u als uw oudere broer heb gekend vanuit de tijd dat mijn ouders nog op ‘de Bruinehaar’ woonden en uw ouders ‘s zondags een lift naar de kerk in Sibculo verstrekten.
Met belangstelling heb ik van een aantal van uw artikelen kennis genomen en hebben me, zogezegd, ‘een riem onder het hart gestoken’ in deze periode v.d. aanloop naar ‘Christmas’, a festivity which particularly in this country, seems to have lost most of its spritual content.
